The “July Flowing Fire” Kaoliang Coffee is inspired by Kinmen’s traditional “Guiding Lights” ritual, where lanterns are lit during the ghost month to symbolize human connection and warmth, guiding souls through the darkness and illuminating the path home.
We carefully select Indian Monsoon Malabar coffee beans, known for their toasted barley and straw-like characteristics, and infuse them with Kinmen Kaoliang “Original Brew 21”, enriching the coffee with deep, aromatic liquor notes. Medium roasting enhances the nostalgic popcorn-like fragrance, reminiscent of walking through lantern-lit streets, where warm glows meet the lingering scent of Kaoliang liquor, evoking a sense of homecoming.
